The game averages your score based on your medals. Even skipped verses count, so don't skip any if possible. Platinum/Pure Platinum = 4 Gold = 3 Silver = 2 Bronze = 1 Stone = 0 Every medal you get counts, man. In your screenshot, I see 2 silver, 1 platinum and 2 gold. (2+2+4+3+3)/5 = 2.8 which rounds up to 3. Therefore, you get a Gold award. Get it?
