They seem pretty advanced to me if u have technology that can allow u to WARP to places and use runes lol. Not to mention take pictures and detect items/plants/monsters on the sheikah slate. The most advanced thing we have irl is phones and computers honestly. But that sheikah slate puts phones to shame, and that's just one piece of their technology in botw.
