Had I played this on the Wii U I think I would have defaulted to playing with the Pro Controller right off the bat. I never liked using the Gamepad gyro to aim. I turned it off in WWHD and TPHD and then just switched to the Pro Controller. Gamepad is a little too big for me to really want to use for longer sessions.
