So, I've been playing SM3DW; and Mario coming up to Plessie's waist: that's while Plessie is crouched down, so Mario probably only comes up to his knee when he's standing up! I know you're already near completion, so you wouldn't need to change him again now, but I suggest maybe make Ploob just a bit taller in the next drawing? Just noticeable, not drastic.
