Well what I do for gradients is that I put down the base colour then use it's lighter/darker neighbor colors until you get the color you actually want at the end, then I use the blend stick to blend it all into a nice gradient/// But Art Academy doesn't have a color wheel like DAA or options for the blender stick so it might not really work as well here
