The intended order seems to be Ruta (the elephant) and Medoh (the bird) first, and Rudania (the lizard) and Naboris (the camel) later on, due to the former two being a bit simpler and the latter two more complicated. Like sandbox says, though, you're welcome to go about doing them in whichever order you please.
