When it comes to the lessons, DAA won't really teach you that much, it's pretty much "colour the character the same way as the teacher does." It does give you some nice tips though, I liked some of the lessons focused on shading with the airbrush. PAA will teach you more about how to actually build a character, make effects like lighting/fire, or different light and shadow techniques. :)
