I personally love Gen 5's Pokémon selection, mostly because it was the first time there were 150+ Pokémon introduced to a region since Kanto. If they wanted to fit the bill, they did have to take some risks and make some more inanimate objects, just like in Gen 1. The Genies never stood out to me as much as the Swords of Justice/Musketeers, so I never noticed that, personally. ^^"
