basically make sure your 3ds has a full charge put it in your book bag or purse. Go about your day normally while its in spleep mode its constantly searching for other 3ds thats in its radius. Thats how you get friends to help defeat monsters. Best thing to do is go to malls or events. pretty cool if you ask me!!
