Alright, I'll be honest here. I totally understand why you're upset at people resetting their game, but think about it. It's their game. You can't control what other people do. If they want to reset their game let them. I'm sure several of these people could careless about the SpotPass items, anyway. Not to mention that they can still get SpotPass items via StreetPass.
