Originally it was going to be a serious anime for teens as shown in the Miraculous Ladybug PV, but was changed to 3D animation and made it more targeted to a younger audience, but not for like kids under 5 or something. The plot is interesting and cute enough for a lazy, no good, 17 year old artist (me XD) to like it, so it's not just for kids. :p
