Play your 3DS game or eShop title. There are some expections. For example, Smash Bros requires a New 3DS to take screenshots. Play your game when you want to take a photo press the Home button and open Miiverse. Miiverse will automatically open to page of the game you are currently playing. You write a post and you tap on button to add a photo. You will be given an option to post either screen.
