actually it might not. but to be honest i also agree with you. but i think its very possible to just have a way to add these fetures without pokemon bank. just re-ajusting the wi-fi part to work on newer consoles should allow us to connect automatically to these servers if they would do it even for mario kart ds on nx. i know they will not update the wii u titles but for nx. now there is a chance.
