I'm not really sure why the difficulty is so high in Breath of the Wild, to be honest. It kind of feels like it's difficult just for the sake of being difficult, instead of for a reason that enhances the rest of the gameplay. Not that I mind a more difficult Zelda game (again, Zelda II fan), but getting one hit KO'ed by almost everything in sight is a bit ridiculous.
