Dunno, I don't think I've ever had speakers plugged into the gamepad during a game before. I only had them hooked up because I discovered the 'downloads' music actually... sounded really nice on real speakers. Then I left them hooked up when I started the game because I thought only the gamepad was emitting sound and I didn't want to have the only audio be from its weak speakers. D'oh
