It took some playing but I got an amiibo to work. The amiibo rune is used verry similarly to the magnet (go figure). My Smash Link amiibo gave me some fruit & chest with these arrows. I tried it 1st as it was my 1st link amiibo. I sadly don't know yet if these chest are randomized. I'll check & see if these amiibo are use once daily or not. I imagine there is some kind of limit on them.
