They're both awfully different. This one is faster in some ways and the relationships with villagers are more complex. You can have jobs and the shipping box is back. But in the first one you unlocked trading vendors, had conquests, did pretty much everything on your own in the farm, customized the town, etc. It's all in your personal preference. c:
