It was, and it was one of my favourite games too. You could put Mario on a simulated Megaman Mission, get Kirby to take on Mother Brain, have Samus traverse the Hyrule Temple to take on Shadow Link to recover the Triforce, even get Link to make his way to Bowser's Lair and take some time with a stroll in Dreamland. It could have been the most shining ideals in the Nintendo lineup.
