I used my old DS with the original update. I used any character with the 4+ weappns and in the orginal update it showed ???. I clicked Link's sword or spinner and it allowed the other character to use it. In this case, it was Skull Kid. Sadly, I can't use summoning gate or other fabulous weapons. I'm sure there are other ways to activate this glitch, but this is a very easy method.
