It could be argued that the Wii was aimed at the causal market and that Nintendo falsely believed this would continue over to the Wii U, which as we all know it didnt...having said that the funny thing is the Wii had far better support for the hardcore, with exclusive wii shop releases like 'Gradius Rebirth' etc. Ahh i remember the nights counting down the seconds till midnights latest -
