I only used his gun because ex-weapons don´t get much kudos (only the bonus for aerial kill), try to make long chains of aerial-kills without landing, with a fast time you get score x2.0 at the end, but I had luck with the boss, I destroyed both parts of the fazent at once with Shred Storm (Aerial 1+Aerial 2+ Shreded+Shreded)
