There is one recent final boss that quite interested and kinda scared me a bit. Black Bowser from Paper Mario: Color Splash. All he wanted was a rainbow makeover, but instead, he literally unleashed the "black plague", by mixing the paint, causing him to be possessed by the goo! Just seeing him all covered in that stuff really freaked me out! It kinda is his fault for being too mischievous, though
