Correction: it seems that there are multiple types Gratitude Crystals. The type that is left behind depends on the elemental type of the dismissed fairy. A fairy gets a bigger stat boost if it has the same element as the Gratitude Crystal. In this case, my light element fairy would get +12 to all stats from the light GC but only +10 to all stats from the dark GC.
