As far as I can recall, the earliest game I personally remember seeing slimes with faces in, was the original Dragon Warrior for the NES. Never played it myself, I'm afraid, but yeah. Dunno if that was the first game slimes with faces appeared in, though. Congrats on finishing this game, by the way!
