@CAT: It might be, I don't know much about the franchise, aside from it being the origin of the whole "But thou must!" trope, and I literally know next to nothing about the Dragonball series. A fair number of manga and anime artists have worked on JRPGs over the years, though, so it's not that far-fetched of a concept.
