I've never played Xenoblade either, but I saw enough of a Let's Play some years ago to know that there is a very thorough (and somewhat convoluted) menu in the game that keep track of what you've collected and done, and writes to your overall percentage. I had a feeling BotW would have one, and I'm glad it does.
