you constantly show them in the same role. Even the DiC cartoons gave them more personality. We know Bowser & Bowser Jr's characteristics but not the Koopalings. Color Splash did it wrong to only show them as bosses. Even M&L:SSS didn't show personality, you just fight them. Paper Jam did it right.
