That does make sense. The Pokemon games hasn't really been trying to try new things in their franchise, and I can imagine their games getting a bit redundant. With that said, I will probably go with a classic before trying a new-style game (as in Sun/Moon.) Therefore, I will probably choose your recommendation on HG/SS or OR/AS.
