He never took anything seriously, didn't develop over the course of the game, offered little sense of competition, and even dropped out of the plot more than once TO GO EAT. He was easily among the worst rivals in the series for me (though still higher than May and Wally). Then there's Team Skull. Ugh...really? Team Flare was stupid, but at least they weren't a cringy insult to Rap/B-Boy culture.
