@SquidAxl: You'll only need to worry about fog while you're in the Lost Woods. It's rain and thunderstorms that you'll need to worry about. Rain makes rock climbing virtually impossible. And you'll need to keep a few non-metallic shields and weapons with you at all times, to avoid becoming a lightning rod (which 1-shots you).
