@Noah: Now that I think about it, I did play the first two chapters of Awakening on Hard Mode on a whim at some point, I guess I forgot. Personally, I didn't have much trouble, and I made the terrible decision of not using Frederick too. I'd say go for it. Worst case scenario is you have to do some level-farming, but it's ultimately up to you and what you think you can handle.
