Oh, and another thing to mention: Puzzle room design and background chitchat between the characters. The puzzle rooms were only filled with objects absolutely necessary to solve the puzzle (or another one later), but there was no stuff lying around that just gave you some background on Zero's plans or semi-random trivia. The latter was crammed into the chitchat, but only occured rather late ...
