At the sound of Shadow's voice, Ex's eyes flashed open. He spun around, and slashed the side of Shadow's face open, at point blank range. The burst of dark energy didn't last long before the darkness reached the chip in his head, causing him to black out. He fell to the side, and his head hit the ground hard. What was awake in him was immediately subdued. One eyes was half open, the silver fading.
