I've had friends like you before, Zachary. The topic was never an issue and only rarely came up. Heck, my entire youth group has accepted several such people without the twitch of an eyebrow... I find that, while people of my beliefs who attack people like you do exist, they aren't the main problem. The main problem is miscommunication and stereotypes based off the hateful minority.
