I did it by growing in the underground cellar (completed Farming Tips #3), where seasons last as long as you want. I throw a different Mega Fertilizer on it each day until the stats maxed out. Then just watch for a Golden one. I'm in Fall year 2 and just fully maxed out the cucumber
