$300 + $100 for BotW special edition + $70 for a pro controller + sales tax and I've spent over $500 on the Switch. While the console price on its own is comparable to past Nintendo consoles, the accessories put the price point much higher, and Nintendo is charging $10 more for the pro controller than Sony and MS do for their standard controllers, though you can argue MEMS and IR tech cost more.
