Listen man. If you don't want lighting to be your problem, make sure you unequip any weapons that are metal. It tells you witch items are metal in your inventory. But if you want to be lighting proof, complete "The Thunder Helm" side quest. Complete it you won't have worry about lighting anymore. Except for the rain though.
