Yes, but just because everything has their own opinion doesn't mean it can't be offensive when they won't stop saying it. Like, I know and accept that there are a lot of people that like cats, but it can be offensive to a dog person when they just keep insisting over and over again that cats are better. That's what's offensive to me.
