use him in games they developed so they could have continuity between them if they wanted so the Mario land and Wario land games are a rare case of the series having continuity in the Mario series, I mean it stopped with this third Wario Land game but that doesn't ruin Wario Land 3 for me, but I liked the continuity between the games while they lasted.
