Imo it seems to be easier than the other games i have became friends with villagers without talking to them i think because they have more things that raise villager friendship like raising town ranks to raise the town ranks u just buy stuff and eat at the restaurant but then it will lock and give u some things u have to do to get to next rank and u have to do farming tips
