Ludo used to be friends with Arine, like Claude and Marinette, before the kingdom they lived in was attacked and the rulers - Arine's parents - were assassinated. He and Arine were hiding together when it happened until Ludo turned her in, hoping he'd be spared in return. He's the same species as the other three I mentioned. They are all different solid colors, and Ludo is magenta/purple.
