Your Wi-Fi signal is weak in the area you start to load Miiverse in. When you go to the corner of the room, the Wi-Fi gets stronger. Instead of paying money to buy a new router, I would rearrange my room so that the bed, a chair, or a couch is near the corner of your room. If that corner is near a door, ask your family to maybe move the router.
