The animation would go back to XY&Z's or the animation used in Pokémon: Origins. Ash would be travelling down this path by himself this time with his pokémon being his only companions (his friends/family will still route for him at the leagues though). Lastly, Ash will fight smarter with fully-evolved pokémon, using actual pokémon strategy (with some liberties), & utilizing all his pokémon. Done
