That's basically Pokémon Generations. I'm gonna terminate this post early. People would rather just continue the "Anti-Ash Rant" than give alternative concepts like this any thought. I can't blame them for having & expressing their opinions, but it's admittedly disheartening to have one's attempt to share a positive concept they spent time thinking-out cast aside by the more negative majority.
