Another theory is that Necrozma is like armor for the mascots. You can see that there is more of Solgaleo/Lunala than Necrozma, and it only appears on the outside of their bodies, like clothing. Kyurem-White/-Black you can tell that there is a definite balance between Kyurem and Reshiram/Zekrom.
