Jade closed her book and put it in her bag. She walked across a nearby street to a bookstore straight across. It was small, with a brown sign at the top with white letters spelling "BOOKSTORE". Jade entered to see an about 30-40 year old man at the check-out desk. Besides him the store was completely empty. "Excuse me do you have any books concerning the history of the war?" she asked politely.
