His plan in Sonic Colours was actually an expertly crafted plan, and I like it a lot. His plan to trick and kill Sonic in SA2 with the fake emerald was possibly the smartest thing he ever did. But if he didn't awake Shadow, Sonic would be dead by now... Metal Sonic. Enough said.
