they almost look like screws... but then again it doesn't seem like they are blind to me... its true if you're blind you can hear much beter but it still doesn't seem likely that tney are blind, even if you dont move a thing they still sense you... and besides whats achieved with making them blind in the first place... maybe we never now for sure.
