I think this is one of my favourite Robotnik boss machines! Shame it's in such an odd Sonic game.

It's all a bit blocky but it plays surprisingly well for an 8–bit game.

The loops in this game do not work properly - I'm spindashing up this loop, but for some reason I get stuck halfway up, lose all momentum and drop down again.

You move so slow while underwater, that you don't even get enough time to look for air.

What have I gotten myself into? This level is so slow, it's a test of my patience! Even the music isn't good. This is what happens when you don't have blast processing!

Sonic is so slow in this game! There's also a bit of slowdown. Still, if you think THIS is slow, try playing Sonic Spinball for the Game Gear. It's also on Sonic Gems Collection.

How is it possible to even get up there?! I can't jump high enough to reach the platform, and water skimming doesn't work.

I am not holding the d-pad yet I am still running through this loop!

GOTTA LOVE SONIC BLAST'S RING HITBOXES.

These physics are almost as bad as Sonic the Hedgehog 4 physics. That may be due to the limitations of 8-bit hardware, though.

IMO this is definitely the worst Sonic game out there that is not '06. It feels SO slow, even compared to other Game Gear Sonic games.
