Always been a big fan of the Donkey Kong Country series, so now I wanna try Donkey Kong Land.
I always wanted to try this game out back when I was a kid. It's great to be able to play it now.
What happened?! I'm sure I had my Kong partner when I got hit, but instead of switching to the other Kong, I get kicked out of the stage and lose a life!
How can I possibly avoid that clam, especially if I can't see it in time?! Donkey Kong 64 is a far better experience just because I can see what's in front of me in that game!
You can have the most amazing graphics imaginable, but if the gameplay isn't very good, then the whole game suffers. This is exactly what Donkey Kong Land 1 is like. It looks amazing for a Game Boy...
How can I possibly avoid those snakes if I cannot see them onscreen?! Even if I could, I still can't avoid them anyway due to how bad the controls and camera are! This is an unplayable mess!

Fantastic. The graphics in this game are so good that it hinders the gameplay! Just like a lot of video games today! Good graphics don't make a good game.
I thought Donkey Kong Country in Donkey Kong Land i can barely notice the difference between the enemies and the background and this hole in the second level i cannot jump over :(
How would I possibly know that enemy was there?! Everything blends in together, which makes it more difficult just to see where the enemies are.
